2017 Fall Confirmation Retreat

Fall Confirmation Retreat with Brian West

September 15-17, 2017

A great way to start a year of Confirmation! Confirmands in 6th, 7th or 8th grade, along with their pastor and adult chaperones, will spend the weekend in Bible study, group discussion, group-building, and camp activities. Camp Concordia will take care of meals, bunk-house style lodging (bring sleeping bags or bedding), meeting spaces, campfire devotions, worship and activities.

This weekend serves as a wonderful opportunity for pastors to connect individually with each student through a game of basketball, a strategic game of archery tag (truly connecting) or simply enjoying snack and a conversation at the Canteen (Camp Store). Students come with friends and can meet new friends.

Besides large-group bible study, there will be "home-church group" time to take the large group session further - a safe and fun environment for youth to interact with their pastor and foster a healthy relationship.

Camp Concordia is ready when you are and desires to support your group's faith formation.

Cost:

$84 per youth
$70 per leader (1 leader for every 7 youth; $70 for additional leaders beyond the 7:1 ratio)

Each group must provide their own adult leaders. We ask that you bring one leader for every seven students; we also ask that you provide a leader for each gender represented by your students. All leaders must be at least 18 years old. The adult leaders are responsible for their group throughout the entire retreat including behavior, supervision, and in case of emergency, adult leaders must have health information available for every person in the group.

Individual Registration (Required for every participant - youth and adult)

Church Registration Form (This gets sent in immediately)

Rev. Brian West is the Pastor for the Next Generation at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton Township, MI.
