Family Camps and CampoutsFamilies coming to CC Family Campouts have several choices of dates and accommodations. Families choose either to camp out in the CC Family Campground or make use of lodging and meals in the CC Base Camp. Special events or activities are scheduled for each of the Family Camps.

Family Camps Essential Information

The Camp Concordia Family Campground (CG) is located Calm Lakeon Half-Mile Lake, has a pavilion and modern (but rustic) restroom/shower facilities. Each campsite has a fire ring, picnic table and up-to-date electric. Many with 220v.

LIMIT: One family** and one tent/RV per site. One vehicle per site. 8 people per site (MI statute). Day guests of campground overnight guests must be registered and pay visitor fee.* See Site Dimensions for individual site information, size and additional campground policies. The Camp Concordia Base Camp (BC) (or Youth Camp) is directly south of the Family Campground and has bunkhouse style cabins. Bunkhouses are basic: a room with bunk beds. Most cabins can fit 8-9 people with 4-5 on a bottom bunk and 4 on a top bunk.

Registering for a Family Camp: You may set up a family account and make reservations online in one easy step through our new online program. Start by clicking the Online Registration below any of the Family Camps. Simply fill in your family's information, register for your Family Camp and make your online payment.

Your family account will remain in the system so that each time you return, all you will need to do is register for the camp(s) your family desires. Also see CC Family Camp Policies.

*Visitor Fee: All guests who come to visit you impact Camp Concordia. Visitors must register. This is responsibility of users. $2.00/person per 3 hours (Includes use of rented facility within campground policies. Must park in parking lot south of Welcome Center - one car per camp site still applies.)

** Family is immediate family living in the same house.

Spring Family Work Weekend

May 2018 (2 nights)
Families register for this event via an email to camp. Clean inside and tidy up outside of children's camp bunkhouse style cabins. Clean the Lodge/Dining Hall and the kitchen. Rake up fire rings. Clean up the beach area. Depending on skills of participants, possibly do some major repair projects. Check-in starts at 7:00 PM on Friday. Work all day Saturday and enjoy a big meal that evening with an evening worship (campfire if warm enough). Close up projects on Sunday morning, have a quick bite and head home. Please register by April 22 (so CC knows how much food to purchase for the weekend). See full schedule.

Memorial Day Weekend Family Campout

May 26-29, 2017 (1, 2, or 3 nights)
Camp on Half-Mile Lake. On Monday morning (TBD) join us for a special Memorial Day Worship service to commemorate all those who have fought and fallen for our freedom. The public will be invited to this Monday morning lakeside celebration. Check-in after 2:00 pm. Special Check-out time for Memorial Day will be 4:00 PM. No pets in cabins or cottages.

Family Camp Week

Ryan Peterson FamilyFamilies will get to be involved in camp staff led activities from archery to deca-ball, canoeing to challenge course. Plus there will be morning breakout sessions for Adults led by Pastor Ryan Peterson, Concordia University Ann Arbor, MI. Older youth (teens) will have their own adventure program & Bible study led by CC Staff and younger children will have their separate program as well. There will be a nursery for babies and toddlers. No pets in cabins. Check-in after 4:00 pm. Check-out prior to 12:00 noon.

Alumni Reunion

August 25-27, 2017 (1 or 2 nights)
This is actually not an "official" CC reunion, but an informal gathering of past staff and campers hosted by Kevin Brooks, prior CC Camp Staff. Use this online registration if you would like to enjoy CC again and make use of the Family Campground. Each Campsite handles their own food.

Labor Day Weekend Family Campout

September 1-4, 2017 (1, 2, or 3 nights)
Cease from your labor. Instead camp, fish, relax and recreate. Check-in after 2:00 pm. Check-out prior to 12:00 noon ...OR... special Check-out time for those families choosing to stay and help take docks out on Labor day will be 4:00 PM. No pets in cabins or cottages.
