2017 He Knows My Name

Kids Benefit from Outdoor Time

Did you know that in the 3 years of recorded history about Jesus, he pulled away to "retreat" and unplug in order to connect with the Father 25 times.

Research shows that kids are in desperate need of outdoor time away from TV, videos, etc. Sites like the National Wildlife Federation spout evidence of this need. There is even concern for what is called a Nature Deficit Disorder with our kids.

And it is not enough to just "unplug" and create a vacuum. Camp Concordia provides an environment that helps to guide kids through a process, including their walk with Jesus Christ. In the midst of the outdoor fun, Camp Concordia is like a filling station.

Each day, from the moment our kids arrive, they are welcomed by an amazing staff who really cares about them. This staff commits their entire summer for our kids. After more than 10 days of training, lifeguard training, 1st Aid/CPR/AED training, background checks, and leadership training, these summer ministry staff are ready to create an environment of friendships, faith and fun!
